Individually handcrafted wood and gem set jewellery, created from native woods gathered from the ancient woodlands of England. Each unique piece, enhanced by an individually selected gem is a personal link to the timeless sentinels of the English landscape.
Located in Middlewich, Cheshire, on the borders of England and Wales, Pauline is the eldest daughter of a woodworking family stretching back for five generations to the 1840's.
After almost 30 years working in an office, she managed to escape and reconnect with her wooden roots, finding time to fulfill the genetic necessity to work with wood. The idea for the amulets came when she was given a yew bough from an ancient hedge in a neighbours garden. The unique cross section that was revealed when the branch was opened at the junction where shoots had grown, was the inspiration for these unusual pieces of jewellery.
She now travels the length and breadth of the British Isles keeping her eyes open for unusual and special pieces of timber to work into these special and exclusive treasures and is happy to undertake special commissions from clients who have a special tree from which they would like a lasting memento.
